TempleCon Coming Faster Than You Think
This in from Jim Burgess:
Hi all, I have booked my "crash room, pay what you can" room for TempleCon, February 5-7 in a new hotel near the airport. This is going to make it even easier for some expected fly-ins from elsewhere. There are real cheap flights BWI-Providence! Philly-Providence, etc. etc.
They say (though it probably isn't quite true) that they're running out of rooms at the $105 per night rate. If you want to book your own room, I have my crash room booked for February 5 and 6:
http://www.ichotels group.com/ h/d/cp/1/ en/advancedsearc h?hotelCode= wrwri with TMP as the code (middle box of the three code options, and put in that you want a two double bed room with up to four official people staying in it -- we crammed more in this room last year).
I also want to start organizing the MADip discounted group pre-registrations sometime soon, but this is mostly a hotel call, in case they are being truthful about being near the booking limit and you want your own room. If you want my crash room, and want to reserve a bed, you need to let me know fast, some preference there for people who come a long way, and need a low
cost/free room, since it really is pay whatever you can/feel like and I don't care how much I make back.
Some of us also are talking about a FTF game sometime soon in either Providence or Boston. I'm going to let someone else organize that, though I'm interested in playing too. Kinda silent around here.
TempleCon, Drop Dead Deadlines, come take the crown away from Peter McNamara, me as GM, what more could you want??? Same round timings etc. as last year that seemed to work well,
Jim-Bob
