Boston Massacre Details

This in from Melissa Call:

The Boston Massacre is just around the corner now.

I've had a number of out of town players contact me with their plans and I thought it really is time for me to step up my recruiting the local players. I'll be trying to contact everyone individually which takes a fair amount of time. So if you are considering coming, or even know you're not coming dropping me a line to tell me would be a great help. That way I can cross you off the list of people to contact.

There will be a couple of changes to previous years. I'll be making an extra Lobster as a Survivor Award for the best play from a beaten down position, and I'll be giving away games to anyone who can recruit someone that hasn't played in a Diplomacy Tournament. Alex and Jon, you keep mentioning trying to recruit friends, maybe a free game'll sweeten the pot.

Here are the details

Pandemonium Books and Games
4 Pleasant St - just off Mass Ave

Round 1:Saturday 20th of June 9am
Round 2:Saturday 20th of June between 3pm and 5pm
Round 3:Sunday 21st of June 9am

Dinner will be provided on Saturday evening.

Cost $25 for the tournament or $10 per round.

We'll have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, plus Lobsters for the 7 best country awards.

Also this year we will have a Survivor Award for best play from beaten down position.

I also have a number of boardgames to give away, all brand new and still in their shrinkwrap. There are five diplomacy boards, one Risk 2010AD, one RoboRally, three Axis and Allies (Pacific, Battle of the Bulge and Europe). I'm going to give them away to anyone bringing along a friend that has never played in a Diplomacy tournament and plays at least 2 rounds. Both the recruiter and recruitee will have their pick of a game. First in first served.
