I just checked the ORIGINS registration website, and the WDC badge has been added.

You do have to jump through a few hoops if you already have a badge registered, however - here's what I ended up doing:

1. Log in to the ORIGINS registration site.

2. Click on "Register" in the menu on the left side of the page; when it refreshes, click on "Buy Badges and Events".

3. Click on "View Tickets" on the right side, just above the "2009 PRE-REG ATENDEE BADGES" black banner.

4. If you click on the "Ribbons" tab now, you will see the WDC ribbon on that page, but there is no way to add it to your cart yet. This is
because you need to tell the system to which badge(s) you are buying the ribbon (the same person can buy more than one ORIGINS badge). Click on "Look Up A Badge".

5. The page should now show your name and your badge type (e.g. "2009 Early Bird Full Show Badge"). Click on the number next to your name; this tells the system you want to buy a ribbon (or event, when those become available, probably in mid-April) for that badge.

6. The Tickets/Ribbons/ Tokens page should come up, with a "badge" on the right side indicating what you already have on your badge. Click on the "Ribbons" tab; when the list of ribbons appears, click the "Buy" button next to "WORLD DIPCON".

7. Once you have done this, click on "View Cart" to complete the transaction. (First, it will ask you for a "shipping address", even
though you will pick up your badge in Columbus - it's just how their system works. Then, there will be a "Checkout" option for you to fill in your credit card details.)

Suggestion: if you are planning on attending ORIGINS in future years, give thought to buying one of their "badge holders" (click the "Tokens" tab). I actually lost my badge at a con once, and it is a pain (in the wallet and otherwise) to get a replacement.
