Origins Update
This in from Sloth (Joe):
For those who don't know, Origins (http://www.originsg amefair.com/) has a deal going this year where, if you register online by January 11, you can register another player *who has never been to Origins* for free. This deal only covers the gate fee, and not any round fees (we're still waiting to hear exactly what the Diplomacy deal will be - right now they're showing an $8 round fee, but there may well end up being a reduced-rate ribbon which covers all four Diplomacy rounds), but even so it saves you $50 at the door
(more if you were otherwise inclined to register at a later date).
I'd highly recommend figuring out who is going, and who in that set has never been to Origins before, and working out a buddy system where we get as many free (or half-price, depending on your POV) entries as possible. After all, why pay more than you have to?
