Chicago Weasels Announce Annual Club Results

Season 3 was our best year yet. A total of 60 players, including 36
new members, played on 23 boards. At yesterday's season-ending gala,
we held our annual awards ceremony, the Weasels.
Prizes
During the year, we received board game prize support from the
Wizards of the Coast. At the ceremony, we awarded the following
prizes:
Most Creative Tactician: Nick Rohn (Axis & Allies: Guadalcanal)
Most Improved Diplomat: Paul Pignotti (Risk 2210)
Best Debut: Andrew Senner (Diplomacy)
Committee's Choice: Bob Kramford (Axis & Allies: Europe?)
Goodwill Ambassador: Greg Duenow (Axis & Allies: Pacific?)
Best Performance as a Standby, Game No. 35: Thom Comstock (Robo Rally)
Best Countries
We awarded framed Best Country certificates for the best country
performances during the year, using our tournament scoring system to
score games. No player could win more than one award.
Best Austria: Greg Duenow, Game No. 40
Best England: Matt Sundstrom, Game No. 45
Best France: Andrew Senner, Game No. 46
Best Germany: Paul Pignotti, Game No. 35
Best Italy: Jeremiah Peterson, Game No. 44
Best Russia: Christian Kline, Game No. 37
