As you probably know by now, the “Stabbeurfou” site is organizing a big tournament to start September 2008. All information about this tournament is to be found on the site at:

Basically, it is an extremely close adaptation of the World Masters but with several enhancements from the Diplomacy National World Cup that is currently on the site. So World Mansion is a team based tournament for
the first round, for quality play. The use of a Web interface and human supervision is the best compromise between the warmth of human and the adjudication precision of judge adjudication. A huge effort was put into
the interface, as in other major web based sites world widely available at present time.

Everything is 100% ready on the site and some players have already pre-registered. As usual, the critical resource is... more players !

This tournament is one of the few chances left to gather the community to the traditions of high activity gaming ways, with long conversations about the game or other topics (especially with foreign players - this is an opportunity to broaden one's mind while preparing at the same time the stab of a Russian player with the help of a Chinese one, with the help of a Brazilian one).
