The 2008 Australian Champion is: Andrew Goff
Goffy managed to score 17 centres with Italy on day one and then go on to top another three boards. A masterful performance and we all look forward to having him represent ANZ at WDC08 in Austria!
The final days play saw two over night games completed and another three fast games played. Games were all competitive and played in a good spirit, with normal final day tensions 
Special mention to both Craig and Greg who were only separated by a single point and who both had very strong tournaments. Goffy while leading, really only ran away with the tourney in his final game, scoring a 12c Russia after 1903.
Big thanks to Sean Colman for providing the very generous prize sponsorship, and to Bevco.com.au for the fridge full of juice and water. And to the travellers from Victoria and Boston, many thanks for your efforts in attending.
