Occasionally I hear people ask, or am asked directly, where somebody can purchase a Diplomacy set these days.  To me, the answer is simple: there are ALWAYS sets available on eBay in varying states of condition.  You also get a wide variety of versions, from the 1961 all the way up to the most recent.  A simple check this morning shows sets available from the US, Australia, and the UK - and possibly other locations I did not notice.  Some have wooden pieces, some plastic, some metal.  You can even find copies of Colonial Diplomacy, but those are very expensive (and without cause in my opinion, as I never felt it was an especially good variant).
