For those of you who are in the New York state area, it should be mentioned that the Council of Five Nations is holding their 30th wargaming convention.  While games like Star Fleet Battles are the biggest art of the event, there will be two game of Diplomacy as well - one on Friday night (the 5th) and one Saturday night (the 6th).  The convention takes place in the brand new Proctors Theatre and Conference Center in Schenectady, New York.
