Welcome to the Diplomacy World blog.  I'm not ready to officially go public with the blog yet, but I wanted to go ahead and set it up so I could beging updating it on a regular basis.  That way I can determine if I have the kind of material to sustain the idea.

The plan is this: I will update the blog about five times a week.  Each entry will be a simple piece of hobby news.  Some of the possible topics for each blog post are:

 - Results of a recent ournament or face-to-face event
 - Announcement of a postal or on-line zine being released
 - Announcement of a notable win in an on-line game
 - Advertisement for a gamestart somewhere
 - Plug of various places to play Diplomacy
 - Reminder of an upcoming Diplomacy event
 - Teaser for an article in an upcoming issue of Diplomacy world
 - General thoughts about the hobby or other matters
 - Upcoming plans for the Diplomacy World site or this blog
 - Anything else I happen to think of
